Jody Scheckter came to Laverstoke Park in 1996 with the aim of farming organically to produce the healthiest, best-tasting food without compromise. This was to be by following nature very strictly, and, where appropriate, by carefully combining with today's high technology and latest research.

Mr Scheckter established the 2500 acre Laverstoke Park estate to ‘produce the best tasting, healthiest food without compromise’. Virtually all the animals on the farm are rare or traditional breeds, including 141 Hereford cattle, 29 pure Aberdeen Angus, 931 water buffalo, 450 pigs and wild boar, 3000 sheep, 65 pedigree Jersey cows plus chickens and turkeys .
